We have some dates available to join with us in our congregational fast, as we humble ourselves before the Lord and ask for guidance and wisdom for the Pastoral Search Committee, for Impact Church and the concerns therein. Compassionate Montreal
There will be a free, bilingual conference for college and career aged people at Word of Life Church the weekend of 10-12 November.  Jachen Mullen, recording artist and director of Compassionate Canada ( http://www.compassionate.ca) will be speaking.  Contact wordoflife@bellnet.ca for information.

AIA
Athletes in Action is holding the annual ‘Total Athlete Symposium’ again this year.  This monday we will have a psychologist speak about motivation, this will be geared towards athletes, but will be useful and relevant for everyone.  There will also be a former Superbowl football player (now Montréal Alloutte) speaking!! This is a rare chance to hear such a speaker.   It will be held this coming monday (13th), 8pm Currie Gym room 305/306.  Listen for the announcement this Sunday!
