1 April - Last Day of Jar Wars

amount to missions last Sunday as part of the Jar Wars competition.
The girls’ jar is now SEVERELY lacking behind the guys’. Make sure to
bring all the change you’ve ever had, to try to beat the guys!
3 April - Benefit Concert
A concert to help support two teams from Réseau Mondial Jeunesse (a YWAM organization) g
oing to Burkina Faso & Guatemala.

6-8 April - Easter Triduum
- 6:00pm at the Penthouse (3489 Stanley)
We will have time to meditate and focus on the significance of the
last few days of Jesus’ life, as well as a Passover/communion supper.
The Passion of the Christ movie will also be shown. Contact

Saturday 7 April: Easter Vigil - 6:30pm at the Penthouse (3489 Stanley)
All-night
prayer vigil from an hour before sunset (Sunset’s at 7:28pm) ’til
Easter Morning service. Feel free to come for any amount of time.
Light refreshments (crackers and juice, coffee) will be provided all
night. Bring your Bible and journal! Contact jerome@impactchurch.ca.

Summer Small Group “The Heart of the Artist”
Do you have a heart
for worship? Do you have a heart of an artist? Do you want to know more?
Starting in May I will be hosting a small-group that will be working
through a book called: “The Heart of the Artist”, by Rory
Noland. If you are or want to become an artist in the church,
this study is for you! If you want to start or continue
down a road of exploring the ins-and-outs of worship, this study is
for you! The book is divided into 10 manageable chapters with
discussion questions at the end of each. Topics include: “Servanthood
Versus Stardom”; “Excellence Versus Perfectionism”; “Managing
Your Emotions”; “The Artist in the Community”; “Jealousy
and Envy”; “The Spiritual Disciplines of the Artist”.
The book will cost ~$20. Contact pete@impactchurch.ca if you are
interested!
