BBQ/Potluck
When: Saturday, May 26, 1pm-6pm
Where: Angrignon Park (metro Angrignon)

This will be a day of fun! Bring your own meat, drinks, and a salad/dessert/side dish to share. Bring frisbees, soccer balls, and any other outdoor equipment, and come prepared for fun. Impact will provide the charcoal, plates, plasticware and napkins.

The BBQ will still go on even if the metro is on strike. The metro runs from 2-5, so come whenever you are able! There are a few spaces available by car so e-mail amy@impactchurch.ca if you plan on going but need transportation or if you have any other questions.

Directions to the BBQ pit from the metro: the metro station is at the top center of the park. Facing the park, walk to the bottom right corner. You will see a pond, it should be on your left as you are walking. You will come to an area with picnic tables and BBQ pits.

The topic we are dealing with next has to do with the roles of the different sexes and what the Bible has to say. Is it all merely cultural and a result from a “repressive patriarchal religion”? Or are there principals and roles that should continue to be looked into and placed into practice?
