(no gimmick here)?  If you’re a student, we know the answer to
that question! If not, we still know you’ll enjoy this Sunday’s
BBQ, compliments of Impact Church.  Come hang out with us in
Fellowship Hall (we’re not even making you climb the mountain this
year!) for some burgers and dogs and great conversation!  That’s
this Sunday, September 2^nd.  See you there!

the next week (9/09) we’re having yet another Welcome Back
Party, this time pot-luck style.  Whether you can cook or
not, we’d greatly appreciate your participation in bringing some kind

you can!  Remember: it’s up to you guys to make this meal what
you want it to be. 

Time to start saving some
$$$ for one of the BEST events of the year!  In just 5 short weeks
(Sept. 28-30), the Impact Crowd (that includes YOU) will be taking
off for a relaxing weekend out in the Eastern Townships.  The cost
will be $100 which includes transportation, lodging, and yummy
food!  Don’t want to miss this one! 

We’re about to launch this
year’s small group extravaganza so if you’re looking to be

Kids’ Ministry
Interested in
hanging out with some really cool kids? We need some committed people
who are willing to serve in our new children’s ministry. Each week we
will need of 2-3 volunteers who would be on a rotating schedule. E-mail
owen@impactchurch.ca to let him know if you are interested!

Needs Board
Do
you have a need that can be filled by another member of our community?
In need of some winter boots, someone who can sew on a button, or some
food for a week when you’re low on cash? We are starting up a new
ministry so we can all look out for each other and work on loving our
fellow community members. We will have both a physical board and “needs
box” as well as a section in the announcements each week. E-mail

you can provide for others!

I’m looking for a roommate to share a 3 bedroom duplex in Westmount.
We are currently two quiet engineers looking for someone quiet and
clean. Rent will be $420+utilities excluding heat. This is for
September 1st to December 31st. The place is right opposite the
Westmount Park. YMCA Westmount is right beside us. The 24 Bus comes at
a regular schedule. We are located on Sherbrooke and Strathcona. Metro

residential street, a 5 minute walk from either Snowdon metro or
Cote-st.-Catherine metro. The contract could be month to month or
